Where do they pee & poo? Where do they put dirty needles? Will those on drugs limit buying/selling & sex for drugs to nighttime so our kids don't see?

I'm all for finding a safer long-term solution for the homeless in Seattle.

Please stop the camping. Portland experimented with this idea and found that camping was . Unsistainable.

Passing this would be a sincere error. Please listen t the point of view of Tim Burgess and the Seattle Times to focus on solutions the ensure the safety for all residents of Seattle, not just the safety of whatever you have been paid by interest groups. This type of plan DID NOT WORK in Portland, why would you even consider a faulty plan in a city with a larger problem? Listen to actual citizens and not your wallets. Thank you.

I am so disappointed in my city council person. This is the dumbest idea, in a series of stupid ideas, that they've come up with.

This is a terrible idea that does nothing to solve the actual problem, I don't support it.

I am a nanny and no longer take my kid to parks in seattle for fear of the garbage, needles and people who now frequent (live) there.

This is an outrageous and ill-considered council bill.

Please do not allow this in our public green spaces. We are a very wealthy city and there must be other options than this.

This is not the answer. Public health and safety are at risk.

The homeless are not ALL good citizens - do not use our public lands for drug addicts to camp, litter and shoot up!!! They'll be flocking here from all states if you go through with this.

This is not a well thought out plan and will have a potential negative impact on more citizens of Seattle than it is trying to help. I have seen first hand the detrimental effects this type of legislation had on the city of Portland. I will work diligently to oppose this and work to be sure that city council members that support this are not reelected.
