I want addresses of all city council members....
I can't wait to camp at their neighborhood park... And leave all my garbage (and feces) behind!

Please keep our communities safe and clean for all. Camping is not a solution to our problems.

I do not approve of this and do not support any additional taxes to turn our parks into homeless encampments

These people do NOT belong in our parks. We are tax paying citizens. You need to figure out how to create jobs for these people and not allow them to come and "live" in our parks that WE pay for. Are you kidding me?! Come on Seattle.

I would like to be reassured that this proposal is actually our best solution to a growing problem in our city. Without this information, I am opposed to the idea.

I don't have a perfect answer but this Homeless KOA solution isn't the one.

PLEASE! WAKEUP! Opening up public spaces for the homeless is NOT the solution. In addition to that it would make OUR parks which we pay for unfriendly and unsafe for adults and children.

Please reconsider pushing this ill advised bill through so quickly especially without voter input. Keep our parks safe and family friendly.

Please do not pass the legislation for the homeless to camp in our city parks. As a father of 3 kids under 10 years old, we use the parks on a regular basis. I believe this could lead to some potential dangerous situations. I vote in every election and believe me, your decision on this will definitely affect my voting decisions.
thank you
Brent Ruddy.

A very weak solution that will cause more problems than it solves.

City Council should NOT allow camping in any parks and greenspaces, whether they are maintained or not. That is taking parks away from their intended purpose and prevent other citizens from using those parks. It will lead to garbage, human excrement and hypodermic needles in those beautiful parks, which will create public health and public safety issues. Once that Pandora’s Box is opened, it will be nearly impossible to fix. This could destroy our most precious large parks.
Allowing camping on public lands did not work in Portland, and it will not work here. We have to find ways to help the homeless without allowing them to camp anywhere they wish on public lands.

Absolutely NO WAY should this be allowed. Why is it that those of us who live in the city of Seatle continue to pay the states most expensive property taxes and yet have to continually put up with measures like this to now welcome in crime, homeless, drugs, prostitution into the neighborhood where we live and our kids are growing up. This is completely absurd and should never be approved. Our counsel should be ashamed to even be considering such a measure. This makes NO sense whatsoever!
