Please provide homes for the homeless, do not allow homeless people to squat in our public spaces.

This needs to stop. These are not homeless people,l trying to make ends meet, they're drug addicts and unstable mentally ill people who need help. They're continually terrorizing tax paying citizens and ruining a city I once loved.

This is not the kind of solution the citizens of Seattle are looking for. How's that 10 year plan to end homelessness going?!?! Could we please stop spending money researching this problem and start building places for homeless to live, getting them mental health & addiction treatment, and getting families off the street with children?

Parks were not created for this, ask Portland. Please keep the city parks free from any type of camping.

There is a better solution to helping homeless people and maintaining green spaces for everyone to feel comfortable using.

It didn't work out in Portland, It's a bad idea for Seattle. This is the most ridiculous and self serving idea the council has come up. Spread the Homeless out into the neighborhoods, away from services where council members don't have to see them when they go to work in the morning. I don't want children playing in parks where they have to avoid needles, broken bottles, possibly weapons, human waste and garbage, I didn't vote for the last parks bill to have this happen to our precious parks.and green spaces.

We all want solutions but this bill will only generate animosity toward homeless in our community.

Enough is enough. Our children deserve to be able to play in a park safely and without exposure to drug use, violence and other behaviors.

This is absurd. This can not happen.

As green spaces become more scarce due to denser housing, it is essential to perform an eia to understand the longer term impact these activities may have in terms of degrading green spaces. Furthermore, increased density was supposed to alleviate housing prices, with the idea that citizens increase their use of public shared spaces. This is not happening AND community spaces are being repurposed by measure.

Please do not allow this to pass. I fear for myself and my small children to play and use the neighborhood parks.

stop enabling and fix the problem with mental health solutions and shelters. Our parks are for enjoying the outside SAFELY! Ridiculous! Stop encouraging this Lord of the Flies mentality!

For the safety of our children, no camping should be allowed in parks.

This is a completely inappropriate use of public parks and will make them unsafe for children and families. Invest tax money in programs to HELP homeless people. Because this is absurd and horrible.

No way!! Our parks are for all of us and not meant to be anyone's home. I would not feel safe letting my children go to the park and that's not okay! This is not a solution to getting them out of downtown Seattle and is quite selfish of city council to even go this route!!

Unbelievably naive and misguided initiative.....what makes Seattle any different than Portland, where the exact same program faioled miserably. Definition of insanity: Performing the same action and expecting different results.
