I appreciate the council's attempt to help our city's homeless individuals. Care and a well considered plan needs to be worked out first to insure safety for all folks.

Concentrate on rapid devleopment of housing. Mixing addicts or the mentally ill with children and families is not a good plan!! I know "not all are that", but there is no way to know which is which for families.

Are you guys kidding me? This is ridiculous. No way should you approve. Find other ways to help. The city can't put the safety of our communities at stake and risk harm to our children and adults. Please vote "No". I will absolutely not vote for anyone of you who allow this to happen.

Please don't do this to our neighborhoods. This is not the answer for anyone.

Please reconsider, this will destroy one of the best things Seattle, as a municipality, has going for it. It will rob those of us who can and do work and pay to upkeep the parks from enjoying them. The homeless encampments already in place are dirty and proliferate litter and many other unsightly and potentially unsafe circumstances in our parks. There are much more responsible solutions to this growing problem.

There are plenty of other public places for the homeless to camp. Parks were intended to be for the RECREATIONAL use by all urbanites and not for accommodation and living space for few...

Park campers should be fined for trespassing and littering our parks with their waste.

Do not do this to our city! Are you trying to make people move away and not want to return? This is the case with our family in a neighborhood and city we used to love.

Very extreme danger for the public which uses the parks for recreation to stay and feel safe.

Management encampments while transitioning to permanent housing is a far better way to compromise. This free-for-all approach to camping on any public land diminishes quality of life for the vast majority while pandering to a very few.

This an horrible abuse of the citizens of this city who pay LARGE taxes. Where will the law-abiding people who work very hard go to have some time in the parks? This bill must not pass. If the Council members want this, then have these people camp on their property.

This City Council needs to stop enacting over the top bill's that we the people should be able to vote on in a ballot! This bill would potentially cause countless issues with drug paraphernalia and garbage in our beautiful parks. These parks are for the citizens to enjoy and have never allowed camping or even overnight parking. Please vote NO!

I will actively contribute to the upcoming opponent of any member who votes for this short sighted bill. It addresses no solutions. It worsens our public health.
