There are better solutions than the city parks, which is an "easy out" for not actually working on the problem.

Moving the homeless from under bridges to our parks is the worst solution and doesn't resolve the issue.

Camping in parks is WRONG for our children, and WRONG for the communities, and CRUEL for the homeless.

Allowing homeless to camp in public parks is a bad idea. While it may provide a temporary solution, it will likely cause pushback by ordinary citizens. This will jeopardize public support for other programs intended to help the homeless.

The answer isn't to allow these homeless camps into our parks. Please rethink this or Seattle will be forever changed, and not in a good way!

Please keep our parks safe and clean for all to enjoy. Allowing this Bill to pass is NOT socially or enviormentally acceptable.

Please listen to the business owners, homeowners, workers and residents signing this petition. Yes, housing is a human right, but so is personal safety. This ordinance does absolutely nothing to improve the safety of the homeless, but makes us less safe in our homes and workplaces by legitimizing camping and tying the hands of the police when trouble does arise.

This is a terrible idea. It will only exacerbate the city-wide homelessness problem and endanger the safety of all.

The city needs to take responsibility to deal with homelessness, not force it on the public to do their job. The Jungke and others parks around the city are hazardous and dangerous. Does the council think that this will not happen in our neighborhoods too? Just reckless!!

This city council has lost their minds. Safety of our community and its people should be first on the agenda. Seattle has turned a dark corner.

Environmental results severe. Homeless nees garbage collection, bathrooms, social workers for the drug addicted and mentally ill.
Do not allow city wide enampments.

Sounds like a great idea, but tried and miserably failed in Portland. Get the homeless mental health and housing assistance with higher tax dollars on foreign real estate investor money instead.

Panhandling, vagrancy, homelessness is a blight on Seattle. Tourists must be appalled at downtown as are the business owners and citizens that avoid going there. Please don't ruin our parks by rolling out the red carpet to welcome more homeless. City council let them camp on your lawns.

Please listen to the citizens of this city instead of the interstate groups and lobbyists, this is a bad and dangerous policy!

This problem is due to the scattershot methods Seattle has used to throw money at the problem.
