Dear Sally Bagshaw & the rest of the city council, you do not run this city. I would like to remind you that you are elected, not crowned.

This bill does not do a single thing to reduce homelessness, but it does ruin the city for everyone.

This is irresponsible legislation and it will have a great negative impact on the citizens of our city.

Seattle CIty Council. For the sake of our children and community. Please do not give away our parks and green spaces away to homeless encampments.

I'm really concerned about this happening. Although my heart goes out to those in need, our parks are also a place our children spend most of their time. While I know most homeless do not necissarily do drugs, there are many in our city who do. It only takes one to leave a needle or attack a citizen in the park for this to become a terrible idea.

Most of these people are tweekers or drunks .Not actually people whom have lost their jobs and homes. GET THEM OUT OF SEATTLE. There are a few homeless who have mental illness and cant help themselves, Get them housing and the medical help they need.

It didn't work in Portland! Please preserve parks for family use!

This is the legislative equivalent of brushing the problem under the rug. Fix the homelessness problem, don't encourage it.

Oh hell no! We pay for these parks, we should be able to safely use them! Period.

Very much needed as the City Council is an absolute joke.

I love parks and jogging with my dog. I bought our house near parks for kids but would move away from those "used to be" nice and family friendly areas if it becomes unsafe with homeless camps. Very sad. There has to be a better solution.

The ordinance will create more problems than it is trying to solve.
