Something needs to be done but this is not it. My tax dollars allow children to play in a clean safe environment

Seattle Homeless are not destitute.. they're drug addicts. Needle Junkies, to be precise. That nonsense should have no business being where children play, or tax payers pay to have clean and safe sites to enjoy. This is NOT the solution we need. Get your heads out, and put them together with the citizens. Stop dictating policy!

I agree with Tim Burgess. We need to have lodging available or the designated camps, with sanitation provided.

The Seattle City Council needs to stop using our parks, sidewalks and right-of-ways as petri dishes for experiments to resolve the homelessness problem, particularly when these experiments have failed elsewhere. Thanks for organizing this petition to stop the ill-advised ordinance.

Don't allow camping in our parks or on our sidewalks!

This is not a real solution, but will probably create new problems. Please vote no.

What is wrong with you people? They are PARKS, not campgrounds. There are already enough of them that some of our parks are unusable.

Please don't allow this to happen.

This will not provide help to these people, instead it will on make our public spaces dirty and possibly dangerous.

The homeless need drug counseling, stability and mental health services, not to be treated like a stray animal with a box on the sidewalk and a bowl of water.

Homeless people need homes. Not camps. Take the money from the bunker or tax the RICH people who have created non affordable rents. Yo, we don't camp in the winter in the Pacific Northwest!!!!!!!!!

WTF are you people thinking!!! This would make OUR parks and Public Spaces less safe and would not solve the real issues with the homeless population!

This Parks plan is not a feasible or fair solution to homelessness in Seattle.

It is a proven fact that better decisions are made when rectal-cranial inversion is not a factor.
