Why don't we open some of the foreclosed business properties and warehouses for multiple person dwellings to help solve this problem. Our open space is for everyone's enjoyment! Not to mention the fines setup in this system seen ridiculous. They won't be homeless long with payments like that and the city will go broke paying them!

Another bad idea from the City council. This will only enable homelessness and cause more to come to our area from other less enabling cities. This is not compassion despite what you feel.

This does not begin to address the homeless problem we are facing!

Help the homeless! They need safe shelter and many need mental health and drug addiction support. A sick individual on serious drugs and mental issues is not sane enough to choose what is best for him/her self or the community they impact. They need to be forced into care until they are well enough to handle living on their own. What YOU are planning to do is make their lives even worse! Forcing them to live in dangerous encampments, forcing healthy neighbors and communities to be at serious risk of health and welfare, not to mention their homes and property being broken into and stolen. Your consideration to support Council Bill 118794 clearly puts your own mental health into question! Do your job! Help all the people. Don't hurt the majority!

It makes no sense to allow sensitive restoration areas and wildlife habitats to be destroyed. It will also deter many from enjoying our needed greenspaces in the city. We need to provide real homes for the homeless.

This is the way of the city pushing the homeless to the side and not doing anything about it. This won't fix the problem.

They already tried this in Portland and it was a disaster.

This short sighted proposed legislation is a not a solution to our homeless problem---it would create many more problems thank it will solve. I agree with Tim Burgess. Do not enact this legislation.

parks are meant to be safe places for tax paying citizens and their families, not for homeless people, who don't want to be housed under any kind of plan.

Seattle doesn't need to be a sanctuary city. How do we recall Mike O'Brien and the other clowncil supporters of this public health and safety nightmare masquerading as "helping the homeless"?

I am not in favor of allowing parks and common areas to be used for camping or homeless refuge.
