let's use all this money the city has collected/been given for REAL change! I'm calling for accountability with these funds so that the homeless can actually be helped get out of homelessness, not just moved around to different camping spots.

I have been writing the city council many, many times about this to, of course, no avail. It just seems they want to use out tax money to aid those who don't want any help or shelter. Mike O'Brien and Rob Johnson are the WORST! they won't listen to anyone unless it is for the "homeless" or the bicycle lobbyists. don't even get me started!

Dear Seattle Government: Please stop enabling the homeless population to remain homeless. Please quit enacting legislation and providing services that attract homeless to Seattle from other parts of the country. Please start providing bus tickets to those who are not willing accept help and become self sufficient.

I do not have all the answers for the homeless housing situation; however, this Council Bill is NOT it.

Apparently council members do not live close to parks and public green belts. Shame on our council members.

The solutions to homelessness are complex as are the causes. This plan is not a viable solution and will cause many more problems..

I sure wish the city would listen! I don't know one person who is for this.

This is complete insanity. The city council is steadily ruining this city - this is the latest and most horrific example of how out of touch they are.

There should be a zero tolerance policy on camping on public land in the city. Seattle needs to stop this before it gets worse. Money provided by the city currently should be more than enough to help those in need. It just needs to be allocated better.

Allowing them to turn the parks into Skid Row does not fix anything much less help them as human beings.
Do not allow the work it would take to alleviate our homelessness problem to be the driving factor to take the cheaper and lazier route.
Save our parks and make a REAL effort to help our homeless.

It's no longer safe to raise your children in Seattle proper!

I sure hope Gov. Jay Inslee signs this.
