This is one of the poorest solutions to be proposed in many years. Please reconsider this action.

I'm watching. I'll remember which city council members support this at election time.

Council Bill 118794 is not a solution to remedy unsafe conditions and protect the rights of homeless individuals. It will introduce far more problems than it solves and distract from the real work at hand.
Please do not authorize camping in our public spaces, greenways and parks.

Please do not allow this to happen. It is not a solution that any tax payer wants.

I write this as Seattle citizen and volunteer helping to restore Frink Park. Please do not legalize public camping in Seattle parks or open spaces. Any temporary accommodations should be in a controlled environment, such as the parking lot under I-5 at James or in the lot across from City Hall, where portable potties, garbage and health services could be provided. The garbage and human waste associated with the camping on the State right of ways is out of control. I strongly urge you to not sanction this activity on city property.

Do not pass this. This is not the proper solution for the homeless. This is indangering our community.

Camping in parks doesn't solve the issue of homelessness. Permitting camping without a restricted number of designated spaces for camping will ruin the parks for the rest of the people who want to enjoy that park too.

The homeless don't belong in our parks. They need homes. Our kids play at the park. They are should be able to play ND enjoy the beauty of our parks. Not have to worry about how dirty and unsafe they will become with litter and worse, drug paraphernalia.
