Clean out the Jungle and design a space capable of supporting the micro temp housing units while providing the security and services necessary to support this segment of the population. Use the forgotten spaces under I-5 instead of the entire city as a place for these individuals to live. The solution is NOT to allow them to live anywhere and further pollute our city.

Allowing camping crosses the line between compassion and enabling those that are service resistant because of addiction or mental health issues.

Do not use our parks for camps! There has to be a better alternative!

Please do not allow homeless encampments on Seattle parks, or on neighborhood green spaces.

I am opposed to allowing persons to camp on sports fields in Seattle city due to safety concerns for athletes participating in organized sports activities in our city.

Please, we use our parks, and this would open up the space for crime. No to homeless using our parks. Build them a safe encampment, with sevices. They need it, we need them out of our parks.

Please stop this craziness. Public land should not be used to cater to the homeless. We should be working on a plan to eradicate this behavior instead of fostering it like we are now. Our city is vastly becoming a garbage dump and it appears that our city council is inept at coming up with a solution.

No homeless camps in the city of Seattle. This serves as my statement of opposition to allow homeless camp arrangements in Seattle, specifically West Seattle. This is an unacceptable attempt at solving our homeless problem in the city, as documented by other unsuccessful efforts of the same variety. Research demonstrates This is not a positive or viable solution. Please take this majority opinion under advisement.

This is not a solution, it's a band-aid. And a bad one to boot. People need stepping stones and assistance, to get them back into society and not a rock to hide them under.

A society that allows a segment of its population to overrule common decency and supports drug behavior, and a flaunting of public decency, and health is subject to decline.

The lack of direction to the homeless problem could move us out of the city. We are a responsible, tax paying family in Seattle and the reality of going to my sons soccer game and having to cancel the game because of a homeless establishment in the field makes me so sad. Seattle residents deserve to have their parks kept safe and clean. If we go down this path, our family may be saying goodbye to Seattle for good.

This is very misguided legislation. It does put the homeless is housing and it will destroy our parks and open spaces. Please do not support

Do not destroy our green spaces by allowing homeless encampments in our public parks. These encampments destroy the value of the parks and make the patrons of the parks feel unsafe, thus decreasing the use that home-owning, tax-paying citizens can have of these spaces.

This proposition does not even begin to address the bigger issues of homelessness and unmonitored mental health issues.

I will not go there anymore if it turns into homeless encampments.
