Stop Seattle From Turning Our Parks Into Homeless Encampments

I understand the unfortunate few homeless people that actually work and had bad luck, that’s fine but the garbage is not right. Especially the majority that are just drug addicts that steal everyday from businesses etc. As a paying homeowner you would be fined by the housing authority !!!!!! It needs to stop! It is bringing rats etc ! There are dumpsters everywhere! If Washington doesn’t do something everyone that actually works and pays taxes will move to a CLEAN state. Also you could pay inmates to pick up the trash that we pay for to keep in jail etc. community service. We could even offer homeless people wages to clean up the garbage to receive food and insurance benefits. The governor needs to stop inability the homeless that are drug addicts!

Why does BLM believe black lives ONLY matter when they are harmed or killed by a white person, especially a white cop and not by black hoodlum? (Think) Where are the multitude of protesters, mourners, and televised funeral services from BLM for the deaths of Black men, women, children, and cops killed by black thugs across America's major cities? The truth is BLM does not care about blacks as more Black Americans are killed by blacks then by cops. Well, the fact is, All Lives Matter (ALM). It is Sad, Insulting, and Degrading that Black Americans Today after all this Years have Forgotten (Think) who the Real Racists have Been and Continue to be, namely, the Democrats.

We are long past the point of ending ignorant and foolish “compassion” as a solution to this societal issue.

This is disgraceful and disgusting! We are a nice city and our city parks should not be turned into a halfway house for people who do not contribute to our society.

Tax payers are the ones suffering yet we are paying for all the problems, disturbing.

please, please, please do not let this happen. There are better options out there for homeless help and management. Spreading out homeless in wide spray of constantly moving, individual encampments across entire city, makes monitoring and helping them near impossible, while decreasing livability for entire city.

Really?? Put them in our parks where our children play?

Ship them to California.

We all understand that homeless is a challenge for us to solve, but this approach is dangerous and riddled with pitfalls for citizens, the City and those who really are in need of help. Please find another solution. Unregulated encampments are not it! Thank you.

This is not solving the issue! This will make it WORSE!!!

I pay over 600.00 a month in taxes to seattle and the state I don't want to have my grand kids ,my dogs, myself be harassed by people who live illegally ln our parks and streets. How much money and stupid ideas are you going to keep throwing at this? Offer them shelter or give them a one way bus ticket out of here.

What's next?!

The homeless camps are turning out beautiful citt into an ugly one. Why are they allowed to camp and live in our parks? I will not take my daughter anywhere near downtown with all the homeless camps.

This is not safe and is not a good alternative for our families who use these parks and pay for these parks with our tax dollars!

No using parks as campgrounds.

I do not want homeless folks or anyone else for that matter camping in city parks.
