The Rutter's Gas Station and Truck Stop is a horrible idea for a number of reasons in that location!!!

Such a business will cause a chaotic traffic and safety situation, also horrible noise and air pollution to the neighborhood and town.

This would bring traffic congestion, air pollution, site alteration and ugliness to this major corner property, to New Market and to nearby residences and a child care center. Please prevent it!

Mainly because the corner of Mussetter and Old National pike is a terrible location to site this store/station. Westbound trucks will have to take exit 62 and go through New Market proper to get to the station and then go past Oakdale High and middle schools to get on I 70. Also, there is no off ramp at the Meadow Rd. for I 70 westbound or I 70 eastbound traffic to exit. I hate to say it because I live nearby, but a more suitable spot would be on the southeast side of exit 62 for I 70.

This seems like a really bad place to add a truck stop. There is no easy way in or out

This will create a very dangerous situation for walkers to New Market Elementary and Middle school. Also, having this at the intersection of 144 and Mussetter Road will create a high volume of truck traffic for the 2 elementary, 2 middle, and 1 high school that sit within this two mile stretch of road.

It is absurd to be inviting additional tractor-trailer traffic to the downtown streets of New Market. Recruit what the residents need, an upscale grocery or convenience store not a Truck Stop!

Do you have children? Do you care about children? The roads are already narrow and in bad condition.

A better spot would be the area right off the freeway on 75 and 144, on the New Market side.

This spot doesn't make sense:( Trucks going thru historic New Market...past multiple schools either way on 144...in front of a daycare/preschool...multiple neighborhoods...
Please rethink this spot!

Please don’t ruin our small town with a truck stop. in front of a family friendly/55+ community, and daycare facility is not the place for semi trucks to be

There are plenty of gas stations in the area. This is a development and the families here do not want a commercial building changing the traffic flow, noise and nature of the area.
Poor planning
