This is absurd that it would considered appropriate to put a gas station with truck parking close to a residential neighborhood and in an area that cannot support the increased traffic.

This plan is too large for this location and I do not support it as proposed. This is at the entrance of residential neighborhood where children play. There is already a problem with frequent accidents through historic New Market and several blind spots due to the hills on Rt 144. Having increased traffic and large trucks will only exacerbate this problem. Please consider reducing the scope of this project to be more in-line with it's location to all the surrounding residential areas.

The thought of 144 being able to sustain any large truck traffic, in addition to the regular traffic as well as the increase in traffic over the next 5 years, is nothing short of idiotic.

The local infrastructure can not support a truck stop.

The infrastructure through this area cannot withstand this type of increased traffic.

Safety and traffic should take place of this business.

NO! Traffic is dangerous enough already, no way to a truck stop on a 2 lane historic road!!!!!

Disapprove...not enough traffic now or future traffic to justify this.

eyesore in an historic area. trucks make no sense this far from an exit.

We do not need another gas station which would bring in large trucks. We are residential area and needs to be maintained as such.

This type of gas station DOES NOT belong in a residential community!

I can't think of a worse location to bring in large trucks and increased traffic. This definitely deserves reconsideration.

As a pizza driver, this would make for a very difficult drive as I drove those roads almost every pizza order. We need to fix the roads first if you ever want more buisnesses.

Ridiculous placement for such a large project

I hate the idea of New Market becoming just an exit off 70.

This truck gas station is a terrible idea for this location. Right next to a family community with small children playing across the street in a community playground. Not to mention it is too far off rt 70 to warrant such a station where large tractor trailers would have to drive through historic New Market with narrow streets to get to it. Terrible idea all the way around.
