Very unsafe to put a truck stop at this location and horrible for the residences so close by.

How will all the trucks get to this place? Drive though a small downtown area already dangerous? This is a horrible idea.

I am against this Rutters station being constructed at the intersection of Route 144 and Mussetter Road, New Market, Md 21774.

Please do not let this happen to New Market. We have already seen way too much development here, the town is losing it's historic & quaint feel. The roads can't handle it, it will increase traffic & cause even more speeding & accidents. A business like this is totally inappropriate for New Market & it's family communities.

FCPC put the brakes on this unwanted and badly throughout project. Wrong for Frederick County

Wake up FCPC, don't mess up roads and a community full of children and seniors.

This truck stop will be very harmful to area. Near by roads not built to handle heavy truck tariff

Until there is an offramp built with direct access to this kind of gas station - I say it's a bad idea. The Costco and Fed Ex trucks will certainly catch wind of this and they already cause enough trouble at 75 & Baldwin.

I used to live on Whiterose Way directly behind where this is slated to go. We purchased in that neighborhood with the promise that a grocery store would be built in that spot. A truck stop...really? I am no longer living in the neighborhood but still close by and no way is that a suitable place for this. The reasons are endless. If I wanted to live in Urbana I would have moved there. It’s sad to watch what New Market is becoming.

The overdevelopment of this area has already led to traffic problems and delays, so we certainly don’t need any more of that! With gas stations already located in Spring Ridge and the shopping centers in New Market, we don’t need to add to the congestion that has become increasingly alarming.

Would be more convenient on route 70.

Better location would be on other side of New Market on 144 just off 70 exit as you head west into downtown New Market.

do not want, there is a daycare across from the proposal site, there are two schools and senior community within walking distance of the site. The road is two small as it is for heavy traffic, not to mention the water system that will be polluted. there are other place where this could be placed for all involved. this cite is not even off of route 70. Please reconsider the placement.
