Our small town can’t handle 100s of trucks cutting through day and night. Noise, pollution, small roads can’t handle it

No. Just no. Directly next to anday care center in the middle of an overcrowded residential community is the wrong place for this kind of business.

We do not need nor want more heavy traffic on 144. This plaza is overkill and not needed.

We do not need a truck stop in this spot at all.

This would be a terrible place for a Rutters gas station

We are all part of the problem of development. Some more so, others less. Minimize your impact by consuming less conspicuously, doing for yourself what could be done by others. Be more independent and be more free.

No to a truck stop next to a daycare center. We need to put our children first and the emissions and loud noise caused by trucks coming in and out would negatively impact the health of kids attending Bright Eyes.

It may be convenient to get gas there because now, I have to go all the way to Sheetz (Exxon Spring Ridge is a rip-off for gas) but the downsides of the reported truck side compel me to sign this petition...

Please don’t create more traffic in this small town.

I think the traffic combined with the current volumes related to the schools and regular traffic in that area make this an impractical idea. The two lane roads in the area can be impassable to some larger trucks. I have seen them get stuck and require police assistance to get backed out or turned around. I have seen large trucks take down power lines and poles while attempting to navigate our local new market roads. Our area can hold many near miss situations for large truck drivers unfamiliar with local roads. I know we have seen examples of this related to the Costco distribution center and the roads surrounding that location near route 75.

No gas station necessary in this neighborhood. There is more harm than good in allowing Rutter to build a gas station. They prevailed in Walkersville and I hope they do not in New Market.

The road will NOT sustain this commercial structure! This is a small rural road for subdivision only traffic.

With all the after school walkers and the cramped downtown area of NM this is absolutely absurd!
