Not against a Rutters gas station. The side of New Market closer to the Costco warehouse and 70 makes much more sense for convenience and access to 70. We do not need more traffic, especially truck traffic, on Main Street in New Market!

This is an inappropriate location. It’s not near enough to a highway - to access, trucks and traffic will have to travel in areas not suited for this. A truck would either need to go through downtown New Market by NMES and NMMS or by OHS, OES, OMS.

Huge safety concerns for the residential neighborhoods. Daycare center, senior neighborhood, etc.

Poor placement of a gas station especially of that size. Semi trucks dont even commute through this section of 144. The roads are not adequate to sustain that type of traffic.

We don't need this! Unnecessary and going to cause so much increased traffic!

Extremely poor placement of a large gas station.

There are already traffic problems when 3 OAkdale schools and 2 New Market schools let out in the afternoons. Add trucks to this and it becomes extremely dangerous. Not to mention what all this large truck traffic will do to our property values.

Not the right location for it and we don’t need the added traffic. There is a busy daycare across the street as well.

Horrible location for a truck stop. There is plenty of open land closer to rt 70 exits that would actually be appropriate for such a monstrosity. Not literally next door to a family community or across from a playground.

Horrible idea, right near a day care. There have been several accidents due to speeding on Main Street; I highly doubt adding trucks to that would help.

Trucks don’t belong in a residential area. They also shouldn’t be brought through historic New Market to get there!

We do not need to have trucks travelling through in this small town....it's not progress if it creates more traffic and pollution!

A small gas station yes, but why geared for truck traffic? This location does not have highway access. This would attract more truck traffic on 144. Trucks should be on 70, not the local roads!

We do not need this in New Market. 18 wheelers driving down Main Street would destroy our cute little town. HORRIBLE plan. Please stop it now!
