I live off of Mussetter and do NOT
want this is this ridiculous unnecessary gas station in this prime family location and especially across from a daycare center.

Not a good place for a gas station. It’s unsafe with a blind rise. Sure to be a cause of accidents

144 cannot handle the traffic through the Town of New Market that a truck stop would create. This is a bad idea.

It will bring way too much traffic on an already busy street. There is a school near the corner which I believe can be very dangerous to the children.

Area is not set up for big trucks or more traffic.

Rt. 144 infrastructure can not accommodate large trucks. Also, the safety of public schools traffic (walking & buses) would be compromised.

This is not the appropriate place for a truck stop. We don't have the infrastructure to support that type of traffic.

This is an inappropriate use for the property. The local infrastructure is not adequate to handle the volume and type of traffic this facility would bring to the New Market area. It is also inappropriate to locate it across from an existing pre-school children's facility. The traffic, noise and diesel exhaust fumes don't belong so close to the children.

No to truck parking. We do not want large trucks on that portion of 144.

While I am supportive of growth and development, this does not make sense for our neighborhood or new market in general. we do not need a truck stop in the middle of a residential community...

Not a desirable location across from a daycare.

This is not the place for a semi truck parking lot and gas pumps. Old National Pike is a 2-lane road and those semis would travel through downtown New Market. It’s also across the street from a day care facility. This sort of traffic would cause our roads to deteriorate more quickly and is definitely the wrong type of business for this community.
