This is not where an industrial/truck gas station should be located. This is a neighborhood and a busy/hilly intersection and will make this too congested and dangerous!

I DON’T want this gas station placed in New Market at all. Over the years, New Market has become overpopulated. The last thing we need are trucks and truck parking on our roads not built for this. My vote is No for this gas station!!!!!

I petition against this due to traffic safety concerns in down town new market. To much traffic and accidents already. Also truckers would have to pass schools in either direction on 144 just to get here. Say no to save kids.

As a mother of two young teens close to driving age, the idea of having semi trucks and a 24/7 dining area at my neighborhood entrance is terrifying. We are already getting too much traffic with overcrowded developments moving in. I moved here for a quiet, quaint community that would be safe for my children to run and play outside. If a truck stop moves in, I would not feel safe and my property value will be affected. Small gas station... yes. Truck Stop... No! Please protect our historic community and our children. Daycare, neighborhood, bus traffic, children on bicycles.... absolute recipe for disaster to combine large 24 hr truck stop parking.

Please reconsider building a truck stop in a residential neighborhood. Please consider the safety of children and school buses that turn into that road throughout the day. Hahn trucks are more than enough trucks on Main St, we don't need any more speeding trucks!

Please consider how many children and school buses go into this development. This is a residential community, not fit for tractor trailers. Hahn trucks speed through rt 144 all the time, please don't add to this problem.

This would be too large of a station for a small community entrance and add way too much truck traffic to an area that does not have the infrastructure to support it.

This will bring in way too much traffic and potential accidents along 144 (that also has 5 schools right off that road)! Not a good idea at all!

This is a horrible idea. Trucks coming through historic New Market would be a disaster.

Not against convenience stores, but truck parking would be better suited to a more industrial area for sure. Plus, given the fragile nature of old New Market’s brick buildings, they’re sure to suffer from the increased truck traffic.

Putting this gas station at this location is beyond stupid.

A gas station this large is highly inappropriate in a residential area.

This is a quiet tight niche community, with a lot of history, no place for a commercial build out by no means. There’s plenty of non residential land else where.

With all the empty pad spaces as exit 62 and all the industrial space around exits 59, 56, & 54, why on earth would you put a truck stop here?

This will drastically increase traffic in a small neighborhood.
