Hell yea! Bring it on. I love rutter’s. The only difference anyone will notice is the cheaper gas it will bring. And the deep fried Oreos! Quit whining people! And grab your self a gallon of their world famous chocolate milk

Horrible horrible idea. Tractor trailers going to down Main Street. What a nightmare. Put it over by the truck stop and Adventure Park.

This area is already being overbuilt with residential and commercial property with respect to the current infrastructure. Safety and shear traffic flow would be a disaster with the Daycare Center directly across the street and the planned elementary school a block away from the proposed Rutter's Gas Station. My vote is "NO"!

I am open to a convenience store/gas station that supports the community, but totally opposed to a facility that will pull traffic off of I-70 and onto Main Street in New Market, especially when that traffic is large trucks. Bringing trucks off of I-70 and onto Main Street, New Market will make an already difficult situation dangerous.

Don't understand how a truck stop is appropriate for a residential area

I live in Greenview, near Mussetter and Old Natl. Pike. I oppose allowing Rutter's on this corner because: (a) it is totally foreign to the look, feel, and character of the quiet neighborhood; (b) it will result in heavy semi traffic through old New Market and it's historic buildings, damaging the road, making noise, and clogging traffic; (c) it is far too close to a daycare and would create a safety issue for those children; (d) 24-hour activity with the truck park would create night-time noise near a residential community; (e) the location at the top of a hill would be a poor place for semis stopping and starting and turning. The county should re-think this very poor idea and find a more suitable location.
