Please leave our area alone. We chose to live here because of the trees and the quiet and the larger lots. There are other areas of Lakewood where housing can be built. Stacking more housing into our lovely large lot neighborhoods will mean people like me are going to begin considering going somewhere else.

i am sick of short platting jamming in houses where there should be none. land owners get greedy and care little for the damage left behind which we homeowners must endure. there should be a process whereby homeowners may object.

Iam against them building 33 homes and iam currently a licensed Realtor Broker with KW Puyallup, however live in Lakewood...Please, spare this property for fewer homes!

Gravelly Lake Drive is largely framed by trees that have been around a long time and they certainly add a certain character to the much travel street. The thought of clearing this specific area and establishing a dense housing neighborhood is most disturbing, as well as the Increased traffic and congestion at this intersection.
If this parcel needs to be developed--I'm a "let it go" gardener, please may it less be less dense so that we may keep these wonderful old trees.

Homeowners in Lakewood are not able to remove Garry Oaks w/out penalties, but for more tax revenues, it seems, the oaks are worth removing?

This is the most beautiful part of Lakewood we have grown up with. The city has already been brought down to okay from wonderful. Spend your time getting quality businesses in the Towne Center and revitalizing older, run down neiborhoods that have gone down hill and attracting people who do not take care of their property. I grew up in Lakewood and am saddened by how it went from the place to live to the place to avoid. Pay attention. Lakewood is turning into Parkland, Spanaway.

We live 4 blocks from this site & would be upset by this break-up of our Neiborhood. We have too much traffic already with Veterans Hospital nearby

We totally agree with preserving the beautiful natural trees and community uniformity as it is today, rather than adding more houses, noise, people and vehicles to this already congested area. Gravelly Lake Drive from Nyanza to Madera is a unique asset to the City of Lakewood. It provides a beautiful entrance to the City. The landscaping and quality and size of the homes on this street present a consistent visual appeal. It is restful to drive into the area and enjoy what many of us have worked to build and maintain. R-3 zone does not fit the area.
