All proportion kept, this project is similar to a "LEBreton Flat" development" but in a suburban area!
It is utterly ridiculous and will permanently damage the way of life that the residents in the southern part of Orleans has enjoyed to this point. This project needs to be drastically downsized or completely forgotten!

This project is just plain wrong for our community. The Chapel Hill community (and the other surrounding ones) will no longer be suburban communities. The sheer size of this project is jut like a large downtown core is springing out of the ground in the middle of our communities; not counting that we simply do not have any infrastructure to support it. It simply does not make any sense. Even their transportation impact study is based on an old obsolete report from the city; their numbers does not hold water.

Exaggerated development in a neighbourhood that is quoted residential...Infrastructure not able to cope with rising number of vehicles in region....The new owners of the Caivan project are being shafted by the city if they go ahead with this project...City council must not approve this project if they care for the well-being of residents...Wake up and smell the roses..

This is the most disrespectful rezoning proposal ever seen yet which is to allow 8 tall bldgs. 16-storeys and 12-storeys) to be built in a quiet residential area of Pagé and Orléans Village. This absurd proposition will add thousands more people to the small parcel of land and bring thousands more cars to Innes Rd. congestion. These tall bldgs will stand out like a sore thumb and forever change the landscape of the beautiful suburb of Orléans!

I don’t agree with the building of these high rise constructions. Will change the beautiful landscape of our community. Will also increase traffic on Innes road, which is already very high.

This end of the city does not have the capacity to support the current population so you should not be adding more congestion without recognizing the impact this will have on commuters. We live 15 minutes from downtown but during rush hour it is easily 45 minutes due to the existing population and lack of traffic infrastructure to support it. It is irresponsible of city planners to ignore this issue.

Please reconsider, as a resident on Creek Crossing St we are already a thruway for local traffic and speeding is a major concern. Adding more traffic without major infrastructure improvements to the West will add to the already frustrating commute.
