These rentals will be overpriced for the average east end residence. Parking in the area is already an issue and this will only bring more street parking to surrounding areas.

No decent infrastructure in place- does not suit the area and apartments should be built near LRT - these buildings are not near ANY EFFICIENT TRANSIT NETWORK . Innes Road is already OVER CAPACITY and can’t handle the cars using it now and you want to add more intensification and more cars? Absurd!

The infrastructure is not designed for this kind of large development. Roads are already stressed and has not even been considered. What about the power grid, water pressure is also not considered.

While I support the development of affordable rental housing in this area, we do not have the transportation infrastructure ( road or public transit) to support a development of this size. Innes Road is already choked with traffic, even on Saturdays.

This type of massive building initiative does not belong in a residential neighbourhood. As well, traffic along Innes Rd is already at max levels and the resulting strain on traffic infrastructure would significantly impact quality of life for residents of the area.

If rezoning is approved, same scenario as 10-20 years ago where thousands of new homes were built right up to Tenth Line and Trim Rd. and at the time did not match Innes Rd. infrastructure. These expansions had been left out in the equation!
It took over 10 years to decide and complete the project of widening Innes Rd. to double lanes. Forget the idea of adding another lane to Innes because there is simply no more space.
There is nowhere in the horizon the sight of a new road to relieve congestion of Innes Rd. stretch traffic in 2019 traffic, or for many years to come for Orléans residents. If it's like projected LRT opening, we have ask ourselves which year, not which month!

Please help City of Ottawa make the right decision by stating the REASONS why you don't want rezoning to be approved.
City has agreed to meet with residents in September, and this is your only CHANCE to STOP this rezoning before City takes FINAL decision on Oct. 10 2019.
