Traffic has been absolutely horrible on Innes for years Priority would be the infrastructure first Widen roads and create bike path on extension and bring govt jobs to east end!

Allowing this to built at this location is absurd. Traffic is already bad through In this area, with no planned infrastructure to accommodate this development.
This development is better suited along the transtitway and future O-Train line

One may say I’m self-interested in my opposition to this development because it would impact my quality of life. And indeed it would for many reasons (exacerbating and already atrocious traffic situation, intensifying a street-parking situation that has been made bad by the newish long term care facility, adding a neourban element to an area that’s anything but, etc, etc). Criticize me as a nimby if you wish. But I don’t the interest of a singular private developer should trump those of the community as a whole. A massive development like this is with next to zero parking should be located very closely to the LRT line—full stop.

instead why can’t we use the space for a weekend market, little coffee store...etc, to increase walk ability in the neighbourhood.

No need for 9, 12 and 16 storey apartment buildings on Innes Road with the traffic congestion that’s already there... put those on the O-train route.

The infrastructure doesn’t exist for that kind of influx of residents. Innes Road is already congested as it is. There is simply not enough road space to share with thousands of new residents.

I am against high rise apartments in Chapel Hill . It would be a nightmare for traffic, noise and parking, not to forget safety on Innes Rd and surrounding streets.

The main issue with this location is lack of suitable transportation infrastructure. City, provincial and federal taxpayers are paying billions to extend the LRT to the east end, this project which would represent the highest concentration of living space in Orleans belongs near the LRT as per the city master plan, not where proposed and a lack of public transportation or road capacity.

I’m totally disagree with this plan (3484 and 3490 Innes road ) this is a major project,I thinks it will be take more then 5years to build and it also very small area to build this major project,already we facings lots of traffic problems evening and morning..
