To force the government to discuss the problem of residents moving near nightlife that has been established and a valued community asset and complaining about noise. Time to make a stand and protect the British culture.

Updates

March 11, 2018

The local council is still ignoring our demands while nightlife institutions continue to face harassment from people who chose to move next door to them. I am currently compiling a dossier of these bogus noise complaints to show exactly how these newcomers are trying to kill our local culture.

March 11, 2018

The momentum behind this is undeniable and it proves that people are finally sick of these gentrifiers trying to gut our culture for their own comfort. Those property developers and short sighted neighbors are officially on notice that we are not letting our music venues die without a fight.

Where I work has been there a lot longer than the houses round it yet we get complaints from residents who moved in knowing full well there was a music venue next door.

These venues give people jobs that are needed, especially when they are established businesses they know they are more likely to have job security.

House residents should sign a document before moving in acknowledging that there is a music venue close by.

This actually frustrates me, if you do your research in an area your moving into and a GREAT club that keeps the home town lot happy who the hell are you to judge! Amazing club fantastic atmosphere which is unusual these days. Don't kill the night life in gravesend because of some snob

The night trade industry needs more support from its council. Planing consent needs to be mindful of existing longstanding businesses.

Not being funny but whoever decide to buy rent flat or house near the night club which was there way before they have to expect that there will be some noise i know owners doing a lot to stop the noise but they will never ever managed to get rid of the noise 100%

Simple answer is to not move there in the first place or move out or simply go and join in
