Please preserve these trees!! Trees take years and years to grow and offer so much to the neighborhood.

You can't possibly be serious!! The number one cause of tree canopy loss in this City starving for MORE trees is home building and in too many cases, building houses after perfectly good homes have been absurdly torn down to make room for ever bigger houses. It should be a felony to cut a tree, never mind a mature CO2-absorbing native tree. What the hell is the matter with you people? Leave these trees alone. Shame on you!

We need trees not McMansions

Please do Not remove mature oaks. These trees are currently supporting hundreds of species of native bugs and birds. Planting new trees will not bring them back after they have perished.

It should be against the las to cut down any tree unless it’s dead.

These trees on Bonhill and Walther Way should NOT be removed. Out =rageous proposal. City must stop it.

It is a shame that people buy houses in this neighborhood only to change it without any consideration or respect for their neighbors or what makes this area so special. I'm sickened to think what next for all of us. My street has been taken over with McMansions and we have very few trees in yards besides palms or Ficus which cause serious damage to the area. I only wish we spoke up before it became a very cold and sterile looking street.

It's start with this ones, and we never know what trees will go next! See what happened to the hill on north Kenter ! A totally naked hill now, with few more old oak trees having roots damaged by the contractor ( after already removing 3 damaged ones) to a point where they will collapse. It's a way for the contractor to get rid of protected trees ! Keep an eye on activities around the trees!!!

It will take decades to get new trees to the size of the current Sycamores on that property. The new developer likely wants to skirt around the law protecting these mature trees in order to build a property-enveloping McMansion that stretches right up to the fence lines. Let's not allow that at the expense of our beautiful neighborhood, please.

I am the neighbor that lives across and one house down. I have lived in my house for over 20 years. The Sycamore trees are and have always been a significant part of the character of the neighborhood. Not only are they a protected species but without them the neighborhood skyline would be drastically damaged. They are mature trees that will not be replaceable by the developer.
