Strongly support this petition as tax increases at much faster rate than income. And don't see any action from authorities to stop tax increase. Please help Monroe Township residents.

The new schools built few years back are already full. The builders make so much profit and must also accommodate 5% of the value of homes for township for school building instead of raising taxes or new homes should be stoped. It's painful that some builders don't even accommodate wide roads or parks in or near communities, when they build so many houses in each community.

I live in Monroe. My taxes are now close 20 thousand compared to 2006 when I parked 14 thousand. This is just too much.

I agree we should not raise our taxes every year. This is burden on people living in Monroe township also create a hardship . We moved in to monroe because of lower taxes and better quality of life along with better schooling . But with taxes going up every year we may not be able to support our family and my retirement as I visioned . Thanks for giving me an opportunity. Sincerely Township resident.

I agree with John. Development is good but not at the cost of existing tax payers. Township should stop new construction or have builder pickup bill for infrastructure improvements.

As a local resident I am appalled by the development that have been allowed in this area in a short period. I oppose any more new constructions in our township. We need quality of life and education added to our township. New constructions will lead to overcrowded schools. Our kids deserve a decent student to teacher ratio. New homes will lead to dramatic increase in traffic in an already heavily congested area, which will lead to more accidents, injuries, and fatalities.Stop destroying the beautiful trees in Monroe! Last but not the least …we want lower taxes!!!!

So sad people are being forced to relocate due to the burden of these ever increasing property taxes.
