Lived here since 1971 , it is terrible, something has got to be done. I see the quiet zone on Inman Ave. in Edison.saying it will take a long time is not getting it done.

The trains never bothered me much, in fact I found them soothing in a way, but it seems they're more troublesome than I imagined. With new regulations, they're not very necessary and if it's more beneficial to the public then I don't think they're necessary.

I can't open any of my windows at night during the nice weather because the train horns wake me and keep me up.

Less than 2 years ago signatures here were about 50. Now we are up to nearly 200! Call or email the mayor's office (908-226-7601; [email protected]) and voice your concerns. Train horns blowing at 3am are completely unnecessary and no one should have to endure this. S.P. Residents have demanded quite zones for nearly 10 years now, maybe more. Yet no action. Front street quite zone is allegedly not possible, but we must, at minimum, demand a partial quite zone (no horns from 10pm-7am). The other two crossing are completely compliant and quite zones are indeed possible.

This is a great idea. I love this area but for the last 30 years these horns have disturbed our sleep virtually every night. Let's end it now.

Seems like an easy fix and I believe the "supplemental safety measures” are concrete barriers in the middle of the road like the one they have on Inman Ave near CVS. Residents have been asking for this for years and though there would be a cost involved to the towns, I always wondered why the the governing bodies have neglected this quality of life issue. Seems like an easy fix and

My sleep is disrupted every night by the train passing through the Clinton Ave Extension crossing. I would love it if this could be stopped.

I am in the vicinity of the New Brunswick Ave. crossing. I would appreciate if the early morning hour blasts are reduced to short ones as opposed to long drawn out obnoxious blasts.

I live 2 miles from New Market x-ing, 1/2 mile from New Brunswick x-ing, 1/4 mile from Clinton x-ing, and 2 miles from Front/Metuchen x-ing. I have to hear every train 4 times each. It has to be a total of 30 trains per day, for 120 crossings per day. It is pure insanity!
