I believe over 2.5 million animals were euthanized last year. Puppy mills only add to those numbers, plus the horrible conditions in which these poor animals are kept in unacceptable. Please be a voice for those who can not speak for themselves

Stopping puppy mills, licencing and vaccinations protect people from parasitic, viral and bacterial infections spread by sick animals....this is fiscal responsibility at its core as it is prevention of disease....health care costs and long term impacts. Tics and lice from animals transmit diseases like Lyme Disease that can lie dormant for years causing a plethora of health care issues which are debilitating and costly to treat. Many of these infections can be spread through soil contaminated by feces.

I have been rescuing dogs for 30 years and many have been breeder dogs from puppy mills, the horrific conditions are crushing. Missing jaws from dental neglect due to rotted teeth, deformed legs from a lifetime of living on metal wire, eyes so infected the corneas have ruptured, hearts, souls and spirits broken almost beyond repai, the list is never ending. Arkansas must take a stand against these atrocities.

It is a shame that Arkansas has a reputation for the existence of these horrible places. Thanks, Jim Sorvillo, for loving these animals.

Puppy mills should not exist. They are cruel to the female dogs and the puppies born to them. No one should make money from being inhumane to helpless animals. This needs to stop now!

Much needed and long awaited legislation by those of us in the trenches daily.
No doubt about it - this must be banned.
