We live on the Lake. The money could be much better used to help reverse the increasingly poor water quality due to sewage leaks, invasive plants and recreational boats. I fear that my future grand kids will not be able to enjoy this lake.
Fourth more the lake is so congested on weekends it is becoming unsafe. Tourists are not aware of
Boating safety regulations and put others at risk let alone disobey boater safety regulations.

I agree that the public should have access to the lake, but this is the wrong location, the wrong price for the taxpayers, and "smells wrong"

The DNR is planning to monitor boat launches to decrease the problem with invasive species. Will they hire a person to stand around this facility to monitor the occasional boat launch?

This property was purchased for a state park without the input of the lake manager. The proper procedures were not followed.
