Cruit is such a beautiful and unspoiled part of Ireland. Don't destroy to feed somebody's greed!

Not on Mr Creed, you need to revert your decision on the grounds of overwhelming public disapproval to industrialisation of an area of outstanding natural beauty. Man up and start protecting our country's most valuable natural assets!

I strongly protest against the decision to give the go ahead to an oyster farm on Cruit Island. It is a place of outstanding natural beauty which delights tourists all year around and should not be blighted in this way.

Terrible - and not even for an Irish owned business

This cannot be allowed to happen. I and my family have been visiting and holidaying on cruit for generations and always have a sense of pride when talking about this beautiful unscathed island. It is a hidden gem and would be destroyed by any kind of industrial endeavor. Shame on Michael creed.

Daniel O'Donnell brought alot of tourism to this particular area but the scenery is what brings people back time and again..it's also part of an area that has rich historical roots..too numerous to list at the moment..I for one object..

Money and greed have already destroyed a lot of our beautiful country, we cannot allow this to go ahead!

Cruit is one of the most beautiful spots along the Wild Atlantic Way. Donegal is only starting to be discovered due to this fabulous tourism initiative and the idea that a development of this size be imposed on our small community is deplorable. While certain business development should be facilitated, sustaining the natural beauty is a priority. This is a special area of conservation for a reason and it is vital that you recognise the local resistance to this proposal.

Leave our beautiful beaches alone. This is one of many spectacular spots around the Donegal. If we allow this then what is next.

This would be a disgrace to allow this development to proceed, it would spoil an area of outstanding natural beauty that is enjoyed by locals and many visitors to the area.

This will ruin this beautiful strand, it should not be allowed. I'm failing to see the benefits of it!
