Allowing these oyster farms in Cruit and Keadue would do irreparable damage to these areas on so many levels. They would have serious adverse affects on the natural beauty of these areas, on tourism and on the ability of locals to enjoy these areas.

My Grandmother was born in Cruit Island and as a family we have been coming and going now for 5 generations. Nothing, whether it's environmental or financial will justify allowing this to go ahead.Remember its the people who decide, keep the pressure on and say NO NO NO.

It would be a travesty if this is allowed to go ahead.

Do not destroy such a beautiful part of Ireland and Donegal in particular. What benefit is that to the local people? The Wild Atlantic Way was promoted to draw more tourists NOT to showcase industries. It's the natural beauty which is unique.

Keep Cruit the way it is. Plenty of other unhabited places for these type of farms. Ruin the scenery

Disaster that this was passed in an area of natural beauty. This will destroy the tranquility of the island and must be stopped.

This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and should remain so. Profit making by means of desecration is absurd.

This is a decision that must be overturned immediately. The effect on the tourist industry and local people will effect many for years to come.
