Step lightly on such beauty and leave the tide to wash the comings and goings as it has done through time. My mother and her people from Owey Island regularly crossed that strand barefooted on their way to the mainland. 'I have spread my dreams under your feet.
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams' Yeats

This area should remain unspoilt. It is so very very beautiful. The Wild Atlantic Way is bringing more much needed tourism to Donegal and all the natural beauty needs to be saved. This Oyster Farm is greed not need.

I object to the proposed intention of oyster farming in this local senic area of the Rosses which attracts so many tourists and is a source of recreation for many families from our area.

The proposed oyster farm at Cruit is not environmentally or ecologically sustainable and definately not in the interest of the local community.

An oyster farm would desecrate this pristine area enjoyed by many young and old all year round. Totally unacceptable.

I have been taking my children to Cruit for 15 years to pony club, surely the greed of a few people cannot not be allowed to rob future generations of the chance to learn horse manship and life time friends.
