Really need to put an effort into perusing what really goes on behind the walls of Attica Correctional Facility, NY. We all know the history, however, those that are serving time now, should not be abused due to the facility's past.

They took the Inmate Abuse Hotline away from Albion pa prison. These Men have Rights as Human Beings and giving guards the Right to abuse these inmate rights is only in turn making them the Criminals. Inmates need to be able to report abuse through a hotline. In the end everyone has to meet thier makers. No one is exempt from judgement you don't get a free pass because your abusing someone who broke the law. We need to make sure our loved ones rights are upheld. Please everyone write our Governor and complain. Flood them with letters or emails. we have to protect or loved ones anyway we can. Don't be complaisant you are the voice of your loved one something can be done... Please write and see many voices can make a difference.

Yes, it is a nightmare to discover that being in prison, gotten off the streets isn't enough for this great country of America. It seems to be a goal of prisons to appease some puritanical, self-righteous group of the population by making life as miserable as possible for prisoners..

my nephew sits in a texas prison battling cancer. He was paroled - release date April 2015. He was diagnosed in January 2015. They are keeping him to do 4 mos of chemo, he will miss his parole date.
We are devastated, no where to turn.

Our son is incarcerated in Somerset Pa. He has a sleeping disorder. This information was not sent with his records. He has told them of this medical condition and they feel he is lying. We sent the doctors name and full information plus all medications he was on before getting arrested. The years he has served he never had any discipline actions. They put him in the hole after he complained of his rights being violated. He has numerous grievances documented. He is currently afraid for his life from the staff and other inmates and the food. He told us know one there knows where he is. He is able to get mail out and in but we haven't talked directly to him. He is not a hard criminal. He just makes bad choices. Sent back to prison for violating his parole he got caught with weed. We are seniors on a fixed income and want to know who we can turn to for help.

I'M outraged at our system ,my family member was at Apalachee Correctional Institure in Sneads Florida ! And the guards are putting the inmates up to stabbing inmates, Plus Mental abuse, taunting ,mocking them and putting Gang member up to this !And if someone is jumped ,they don't have the camera in that area! That is ridiculous ! All of the Prison have Camera ,and we are not going to stop ,till something has been done to help the inmates and their family! And why do the DOC take the family member out of their family area ????,Because, they don't want you to see the abuse that your family member is going through !!! It's time for us to stand up to this abuse and neglect in the Florida State prisons

If they prison system raised them and has abused them it is hard to expect better for a person that has been locked away. Yes, doing time is what's for a crime but, the law mistreating them is never the answer. Or having inmates abuse other inmates in any way is never the answer. This really needs to be addressed. If they prison system raised them and has abused them it is hard to expect better for a person that has been locked away. Yes, doing time is what's for a crime but, the law mistreating them is never the answer. Or having inmates abuse other inmates in any way is never the answer. This really needs to be addressed. I fear for my husband's life and I am not sure he will ever make it out of the Florida prison alive. He does not deserve that fate. He is there to pay for the crime he committed while being on meds from the VA which 2 of the meds should ever been given together. He was and is a good man whom serve his country and had never been in any trouble that would put him behind prison bars. The abuse has to STOP.
