my family member has a terrible open, oozing skin rash that is very painful. he has requested medical assistance many times. they give him a "bandaid" and send him on his way. they do not follow up or make sure he has a cure to get rid of this painful condition. he is suffering, and I can,t stand to see him suffer anymore. who can i write a formal complaint to?

I ashamed of our fed. prison system, i hope and pray that these fed guards get whats coming to thm for abusing their prisoners! Hell hath no fury like a pissed off mother whn uve abused her child!

My brother is currently incarcerated in a NY State correctional prison and has filed many claims of mistreatment and abuse that were left unanswered. The guards have violated his rights many times with unnecessary force. This has to stop, if it don't many inmates would be damaged psychologically and will have a hard time functioning in the real world.

This really is a problem. I know these people did wrong, but when someone does more time than required because the employees don't want to do their job, that is when the system fails us all. It slows down the inmate becoming a productive citizen, and cost tax payers unneccessary $$$

We need to stop and take a good look at ourselves. Anyone who can hurt another human by the way of inhumane treatment that the prisoners are receiving is just as guilty.

My brother is disabled with a critical intestinal disease. He was arrested 1-18-15 & is in the county jail in Rockford IL. He is being denied his many prescriptions & not allowed food he can digest with his Crohn's disease. He has lost nearly 15lbs in 2 weeks & is now 45lbs below his healthy weight. He's being served the Death Penalty....he'll never make it to his court date on 2-26-15 :'(

Really need to put an effort into perusing what really goes on behind the walls of Attica Correctional Facility, NY. We all know the history, however, those that are serving time now, should not be abused due to the facility's past.
