Everyone deserves a second chance. Some take advantage of it, some do not, but who are we to decide this for them. We need to ensure the incarcerated are afforded the opportunity to repent for their mistakes and make a better person of themselves.

I was not aware how poorly prisoners were treated until my best friend was recently arrested. Once you are inside, it seems there is no justice in the justice system. Too many guards and administrators think they are PART of the prisoners punishment - and they all seem to cover each other... Even when the inmate is correct.

PLEASE MAKE THIS CHANGE. I am begging you from the heart. This is a necessary change that needs to be made for the good of us all. Time is of the essence, so many are being neglected, abused and tortured as we speak. Please do something soon to end all the suffering that takes place and is so very unnecessary.

My brother was put in a "Dry Cell" for allegedly having a cell phone. Even after the hospital Xray showed that there was no contraband found inside his body, the staff at the Terre Haute USP locked my brother away for a few days in the "Dry Cell". He called today saying he is finally out, and smells like feces because of the lack of running water to wash himself. He was called a "Sand Nigger" numerous of times! My brother is paying for his mistake and has been sentenced to 15 years. Just because of his ethnicity and beliefs they put him with a group of terrorists. Why is that the case? Some one needs to stand up against this!

My brother is a victim of neglect and abuse. He has been wrongfully convicted of a crime he did not commit under the state of Missouri corrections prison system and is now serving 1325 yrs. My brother was falsely accused of committing an rules infraction and placed in the hole for 90 consecutive days in a unsanitary holding cell. During this time he contracted a virus and had to have his tonsils remove. The medical staff refused to treat him properly during this period. He has since developed cancer because of the neglect of the prison staff that placed him in that unsanitary cell at South Central Correctional Center in Licking Missouri. His suffering has had an tremendous impact on him and his entire family. He has presently be transferred to JCCC for Chemo therapy for the cancerous lump on the right side of his neck region. This neglect and suffering of my brother is heartbreaking. I am a retired military veteran and Desert Storm veteran who fought for freedom and defended this nation. Please help stop prison abuse for the sake of my brother and others who are going through the same neglect and suffering. Prisoners are human too. I gave my life for America and pay my taxes each year but not for the prison system to allow such abuse. "Stop The Abuse Now"!!!

my family member has a terrible open, oozing skin rash that is very painful. he has requested medical assistance many times. they give him a "bandaid" and send him on his way. they do not follow up or make sure he has a cure to get rid of this painful condition. he is suffering, and I can,t stand to see him suffer anymore. who can i write a formal complaint to?
