Stop Prison Abuse

My brother is in Coastal Bend Detention Center and he has witnessed guards abusing inmates for fun or because they are working longer shifts.I understand that the prisoners are serving time but it does not give guards them the right to purposely abuse inmates.Disappointed in our justice system

I am in the same condition. You should read my blog also. I am also the daughter of a father who was imprisoned unfairly.

My father was convicted to fifteen years to life because of physical abuse on his children. The saddest thing about this story is that my father was not an alcoholic or a drug addict, he was a single parent trying his best to raise his children to avoid all wrong paths. The district attorney had told the jury that we are going to be scarred for life with marks implanted in our bodies till the end of our days. The truth is that I just turned twenty years old going to University of Stanislaus. My brother is in a community college doing well and our youngest sister is enjoying her last month's of eighth grade. For the first time in seven to eight years I see my father today. He has been beaten, tortured, used, and also had several types of pills tested on him. He looked so much older than forty five years of age. So tired. So used. So dead. Please help me fight not only for his rights as a human being but also for his life. I agree individuals who had done wrong should be punished but I don't think mental and physical abuse will benefit them or the human civilization in the future. It is not right and not what I expected of the country who's whole foundation is based upon JUSTICE.

My son is not getting the proper health care he has some mental problems!!!! how can I get someone for my son to get heip??.

Free the inmates that were incarcerated before laws changed in 1993. Treat them fairly. It's a corrupt and crazy world of it's own in prison.

My fiance is in FCI MEDIUM BEAUMONT, TX and he has been waiting for like 3 weeks to be seen by medical and u get the runaround. This needs to stop.

my son goes through abuse everyday. and if he says something he is treated worse. i call gets worse on him. guards and medical and mental health issues. i try to help all the time. still year gone by still jet treated like a dog . acused of doing this never did. proved it.and still in lock up they throught that he is a threat amd is not . check i said youll see. they have him there under wrong reasons cause the can. .people in there over a onion. please and get no mental or phycal attition at all.get coffie or water to drink sounds like tourcher to me.

Even the jails are these days almost the same. I have no idea how anyone could work under these conditions unless you are with the devil himself. How could anyone treat another person in this country in such a manner??? Easy... complacency as were the people of WWII Germany blindly following the government's cover up of this sort of treatment of fellow humans. People in America have no idea until they happen to get caught up in the system.

The legal system is totally out of control and something must be done! Inhumane treatment and judges that believe they have the powers of God is at the basis of this new torture of the American people that has seemed to become the normal way of doing business these days!

When i had to do 24 hours alone in a tiny room, i was not abused, i was safe, but very lonely and bored. They would either forget to give me my meds or were late with them. I ever got sick with nasty cramps, but they had no midol! They should supply over the counter meds and bring the inmates their meds on time, no ifs, ands or buts about it!

Criminal should not be treated as animals what so ever because they are human beings too.

The rape and mistreatment of the disabled needs to stop!

This is a corrupt system that is making people worse getting out than they were going in. This does not help society in the least. These men and women are damaged goods, some beyond repair when they are unleashed back into society. Where is the reform? Rape is off the hook and the officers are equally involved... its sick and twisted and something needs to be done....

My loved one is being held in Elkton Federal Prison in Lisbon, OH for growing marijuana. He has RLS, it is a disease. He is given meds for Parkinson's patients to help ease his pain but, always runs out before he is given his prescription, they take their sweet time and DO NOT CARE if he suffers or not! He will be up ALL night walking the halls because he is not able to sit still, lay still or sleep! This is extreme sleep deprivation and pure torture, it is inhumane, cruel and unusual punishment that no one should have to endure just because they are in prison! He has already had one stroke and this stress and sleeplessness is going to cause him to have another--stress can kill you! I am so worried I will never see my fiance again if he dies in there from needless neglect and pure torture, he doesn't deserve this, no one does! Is there anything anyone can do or is there anyone I can call for some help with this? He is treated worse than a murderer or child molester, in fact, the child molesters in there got less time for ruining a child's life by forcing sex upon poor children!! He worked hard ALL his life, served his country in the Marines, owned his own construction company and was able to retire. The Social Security and VA checks he received were not enough to suvive on and him and his BF got a bright idea--to grow pot, big mistake, even though it's legal all over the place and he had a medical marijuana card, the Federal govtmt. is on a mission, THE WAR ON DRUGS!! A total waste of everyone's $$$!!! Please, please can anyone help us!? Is there anyone I can contact at the prison or out there that can be of some help to us?! I am so worried I will never see my loved one again and before he gets out next Dec.2014, he drove himself to Lisbon, OH to surrender in Feb 2011 and I haven't seen him since. This is shameful to do to any human being and cause such suffering!! Please help, anybody can e-mail me with any ideas or suggestions--thank you so much!!!!

CORRUPT SYSTEM! My father had trust in the court system and he is sitting in prison for a crime he did not commit. He had many health problems when he went into prison and now he is in horrible shape because he is not given proper medical treatment. PROPER MEDICAL TREATMENT DENIED! When I went to visit him every finger nails on both hands were bruised, he could barely stand or sit, he was pale like he hadn't been outside since he got there. He sends letters to his father, my mother, my brother and me his daughter begging for someone to believe the extreme mental and physical torture he is going through, but in other words or his letters never reach us. TORTURE! An innocent man is sitting in prison being tortured and begging for his family to come see him soon since he feels his life is almost over. THIS IS NOT JUSTICE ITS TORTURE AND MURDER! We are all brothers and sisters children of God please take the time to Google "Prison Torture" and you will see it happens all over the world even in the United Stated only they are better at hiding it and giving excuses. I TRIED SPEAKING WITH THE PRISON WARDEN, but at my next visit with my father he told me things got a lot worse never to talk to the Warden again. It has been years nobody listens nobody helps! Years of torture years of pain inflicted on an INNOCENT MAN CONVICTED WITHOUT EVIDENCE WHO PASSED THE LIE DETECTOR by the system we all trust. THIS IS NOT THE ONLY CASE! I could go on and on, but nobody listens, nobody cares. People only care about what is going on in their lives until they are in the wrong place at the wrong time and are wrongfully convicted only to later suffer what my father along with many others are suffering that's when they start to care. PLEASE CARE NOW AND HELP! We should all do our part in fighting for the people so one day if we or the people we care about find ourselves wrongfully convicted or mistreated we the people will be fighting for you too. my grandson has been abused in poke ci while having an epeleptic seizure and then told he was on the guard s bad list and the guard would write him up because the guard doesn't like him. this is a very evil thing to do , satan has his servants in the prisons doing evil works

This has to be done in all the prisons not just the FEDS

I don't do anything to help my 'son' in prison because I'm afraid of any back lash he may receive because of my comments :-(
