Council, I am an Aucklander. Stop petty interference like this and let people get on with their lives without bureaucratic high handed nonsense. At this stage in your work I'd have to say the super city is turning into a super nightmare because local voices are ignored by the high flying self promoting skyscraper dwelling elite.

Just crazy to move this stall that has been in the same spot so long, giving low cost fish to the local community

This is disgraceful. As inhumane as central government has become... surely humanity remains the domain of truly 'LOCAL' government.

Auckland Council through ATEED supports open markets and has a three page website (with the Mayor) showing us where to find people like Peter This decision needs to be redacted. The benefit of this proposal has not been explained and until it has, the decision must be placed on hold.

What Sunday lunch was complete without a visit down to Peters to pick up our seafood for that lunch!! just as the other shop owners have said -they look out for each other! if there are no complaints from patrons then i do not see their issue. as the saying goes....what aint broke..

This was a favourite place of our whole extended family and community every Sunday. We went as young children for the fresh flounder and a loaf of fresh white bread from the bakery. Some of us don't live in Auckland anymore and even decades later will go back to buy fish from Peter. He and his stall are a part of the fabric of what makes Mangere Bridge then and now. Don't close it, don't close it, don't close it! Much aroha to him and his family x

I have been visiting Peter's stall from a very young age. I am now in my late twenties. The stall has been in its current spot for 33 years and it is still popular. Peter's a great man, and an Auckland icon. Let him stay, concentrate on more pressing issues Auckland Council.

This petition shouldn't even be necessary! No decent logic to the idea of rehoming this iconic business, that draws people into Mangere!!
