Alva's charm is that its not over-developed. Those of us who have been here for decades moved here to get away from the cookie cutter communities around us and enjoy the beauty of rural Florida. It breaks my heart to see how much it's changed here in the last few years, and all of this development is running off the long time residents.

Alva has always been a rural area. Stop trying to change that.

The growth is out of line with infrastructure and the nature of the community. Too many doors.

I'm for some development, but we need to stay rural of farmette, one house per acre. Just a note in Lake County it's one house per 5 acres.

At what point do Rual families who feed the area stop selling lands for a meek buck Now only to regret the outcome on the next generation. It simply isn’t worth it. Go ask any older Rancher who has done just that sold the land.
