The growth in this area needs to be kept rural. More acres per house. It also needs to be environmental friendly.

We can not allow more useless housing development to continue with an overloaded infrastructure that has no room to expand also near an evacuation route. Traffic is already at an all time high taking 30mins to get 2 miles in the morning I’m off season. Destruction of remaining land destroys animal habitats to our local area. Housing brings nothing of value to the area where the housing is high priced over locals affordable living wages.

The only wildlife we will have left are the few birds that stick around. Stop the over development of Lee county!!

This development is not rural and not wanted. Have you ever seen the traffic on I-75 at the exit for Lakewood Ranch? We don't want this developer in our community.

We do not need this development in this rural part of Lee county. The over crowding in SW FL is already at a ridiculous level and this development will only make it worse

It is crucial for our local elected commissioners to truly understand the overwhelming community wide sincere desire to maintain the rural environment it profoundly set in the Comp Plan and NOT to amend those density and land use elements so eagerly set forth by this community when through it direct involvement had approved the amendments to the Lee Comp Plan set forth in the Alva Community Plan (Ordinance 11-21) and the Northeast Lee County and North Olga Community Plans (Ordinance 11-14). Now 5 Commissioners must honor their commitment to honor the multitude of those who established and had approved our plans to maintain what is left of a rural environment in Lee County. Only you five control our destiny. DO NOT LESS US DOWN just to satisfy the financial needs of large scale national developers. Now please understand, I write this acknowledging I am a builder and developer living here in Lee most of my life. I’ve seen change, growth, and prosperity; however, I respect the absolute need to preserve the Alva rural environment as currently planned to respect those who have their roots dug deep here.

I am still in disbelief that this commercial development was "approved", even thought there is a Florida Sunshine Law. The commissioners should be ashamed.

This area can not hold anymore development, the infrastructure in place now can’t even support all the new people that are here, much less even more people moving here! It’s bad all around for everyone here, especially the locals.

As a Fort Myers native I would like to see this community remain the same! I do NOT want NEAL COMMUNITIES building in this area.

Too much development, no supporting infrastructure available.

Like most Alva residents, if these grotesque commercial and residential developments are actually built I will have to think about leaving- which I never thought I would.
