I'm not an Alva resident but I am a S Lee County resident and have seen what the BoCC and developers have done to Corkscrew Rd where the rural character, agricultural fields and quality of conservation lands are all but gone. Left to their own devices developers and policy 'makers' (or should I say policy breakers, as they basically have destroyed every tenet for responsible found in the Lee Comp Plan) would turn Lee's rural corridors into something similar to Immokalee Rd in Collier: a multi lane nightmare of sprawl and strip centers. Stand up people and fight this malfeasance!

We moved out here for peace and quiet. We all pay a lot of property taxes for this reason.

I'm sick and tired of these greedy developers, imposing their will on us. They have absolutely NO regard to our rural way of living, not do they care. All they are after is their bottom line.....MONEY!
