The building of new subdivisions has got to stop. Our roads cannot accommodate the traffic and people who live here now. Do your homework. Thank you.

Alva is a beautiful & serene community. If you allow this housing prior to infrastructure l, road widening among the most important, it will ruin the area.

Alva is where I grew up, and loved running and playing in the woods with my brothers and friends! I hate that it's becoming one big development! At this rate, all of the natural habitats will be destroyed and for the good of our land, they need to be left intact!!

This proposed development is not of a rural nature and will destroy the only rural land left in Lee County.

This is SAD that our Bayshore and Alva area is being destroyed by Big Money and Greed by the Rich and by people who will make Big Profit by this overdevelopment of these areas !! we live in the Bayshore area off of Pritchitt Road and what are used to take her 15 minutes to get to downtown to work now takes her 45 minutes with all the traffic on Bayshore now. The Babcock Ranch area is causing tremendous traffic on Bayshore Road and now if you put 1500 homes with two cars each coming down routes 78,31 to Bayshore Rd. we won’t ever be able to get out on Bayshore from Pritchitt Road. I’ve complained at the commissioner meetings about the traffic due to be being a retired deputy, sheriff, and handling traffic situation’s, but it seem to no avail to them. It’s all about the money. And now that we have a new commissioner who lives in the area who stands to take make millions we don’t have a chance !
Lee County is turning into a Broward County and Dade County to where we’re having people move from there to our area to get away from it and now it’s becoming what they left !!!
Please help the people who have lived here and moved here for the country atmosphere, not the city life ! Please don’t let big money and big government change where we live !!

I am most assuredly opposed to the development potential in Alva. We purposely chose to live here because of the tranquility of this rural area. It will be terribly sad to see this amazing picturesque area turn into another small city, clogged with traffic, and unsightly buildings.
