I am a long time resident of Anna Maria island and know longbar pointe very well. It needs to stay undeveloped to keep the natural face of the landscape. Stop allowing big money developers to come in and change our (what should be) protected coastline. Between the mangroves and oyster beds we need to keep this area "forever wild" to preserve the wildlife and surrounding ecosystem. Hopefully our voices will be heard and help preserve one of the last remaining undeveloped areas in Manatee county. Thank you

This rezoning would ultimately be a disaster for the taxpayer.

We can't let longbar get MU. It would be dangerous, to human life as well as a disaster to the bay.

We bought our place near the bay so we could enjoy the pristine beauty. Yesterday, a bald eagle with a fish in its talons landed by our front door. We must not lose what little of wild coastal Florida is left. If that is being a nimby, so be it!
