The people have spoken! Leave Jekyll Island as it is! Take note of any official, ( elected or not) that goes against the wishes of the citizens!!

Tragic. Terrible and devastating to visitors

JIA just because you can doesn't mean it's right.

“We have a plan but we can’t tell you what it is, but we can say we like the ersatz chic of Beach Village and want to go in that direction.” Not the Jekyll I’ve come to love over the last 34 years, sounds like something you’d hear at Kiawah or Hilton Head. You have a plan, let’s see it before you kick out these shops. Maybe we won’t like your New Direction and you will have caused a lot of pain for naught.

They are a crucial and important part of the community and overall good citizens. To evict them is a moral failing of the JIA

We come to Jekyll several times a year. I enjoy coming to this shopping area to find treasures. Do not want to see these stores go away! Thank you
