I know leases have limits but terminating a person's livelihood in such a cruel, short notice way is heartbreaking and does not look good on our governing administration. Please have a heart and reconsider this decision.

They just keep trying to ruin Jekyll Island. People go to Jekyll for a reason. Slow paced, a place where you can take your family and not worry about a bunch of drunks profanity and over crowed. but REMEMBER Georgia wants to destroy anything that is good and family oriented . What a shame.

Keep the historical shops as they are and have been for so very long. I don’t know what the JIA has planned and don’t care…..if it means closing the shops….we don’t want it!!!

Just wondering will they do this with land leases as well? It seems instead of a State Park they are turning it into a upscale vacation destination. The pricing for parking has excluded many locals from enjoying the facilities. It seems to me this is the goal of the Jekyll Island Authority.
