Many a time I can't park as I don't have the right change. I have given up on at least 10 occasions and gone to tesco.ignorant councils are killing the high street. Don't we ALL know it. Which council was it that lost millions investing in Iceland?

We tend to avoid Barnet for shopping and go to places that we do not have to pay, and we live here! For the High Street to survive the council need to make it easier for people to nip in and out otherwise the business will all go online and then the council will be earning nothing!!

1 hour free parking in the adjoining streets too would help as there are not enough parking spaces in the High Street if we are to encourage visitors.

One hour's free parking would encourage extra trade and help small shop owners. I no longer 'pop' to Barnet, East Finchley and Finchley Central because of the parking problem. The few times I've tried to pay by phone, it hasn't worked and I've had to drive away without visiting the shops.
