Please help our high street to come back to life so I do not have to over to Enfield for a decent selection of shops!

The parking in Barnet is ridiculous and the prices reflect the council's need to collect revenue rather than to encourage shoppers. New businesses come and go in Barnet too quickly and this may be in part due to the expensive parking so driving customers to cheaper shopping areas.

The cost of parking for high barnet is quite over the top considering we don't even have a thriving shopping experience like wood green or enfield. These parking prices are causing me to go to Finchley where I can get free parking for 1 hour in Sainsburys car park. The council need to re think there madness.

Fir heavens saje give the public and small businesses the chance to interact. Small businesses need the custom and are the lifeblood of communities otherwise we would all be shopping in huge anonymous sheds. Life is very frustrating these days when you cant just pull up in your car and pop into a shop for a very short time without worrying about whether you will get a ticket. The councils are so greedy and they pick in drivers it seems to me that we are scapegoats for the councils to raise more funds. Always the motorists and where exactly do all these revenues go? We cant see any particular differences to our roads. Its a tax that should be charged to all people in their council after all, we ALL USE THE ROADS!
