Remember that the High Street goes down the hill as far as Queen Elizabeth School so please include the spaces by 'Anabella's' (20 High Street) and Fitzjohn Avenue Car Park..

Parking has become a nightmare. Payment by credit or debit card must be made optional. Not accepting cash has added to woes of Barnet residents who are unable to go to the high street as much as they would wish. This is also detrimental to the local economy. Free parking on the high street for some time of the day would go a long way in alleviating the problems of shoppers and shops alike.

So many shops have closed and much of the problem is due to the parking situation as well as high rents.
