We are senior citizens. We are already paying very high school taxes to live in our home. We do not want our taxes raised any higher than they already are! We want to stay in our home.

Ossining Village already has done it share of subsidized housing, including new plans for Hidden Cove's 14 affordable units of 137 total units being built.
ETPA is a discriminatory law in that it only effects older buildings with 6 or more units. Why should these established landlords be subject to a Public Rent Control Committee that will set lease terms, rent increases and maintenance budgets. Homeowners like me will make up the lost revenue in property tax increases when any building does not pay its fair share.

Help the people who love living here ... afford to stay here. There are enough people in Ossining. Take care of the people who live here ... first.
