Whatever the reason for this, it must be ridiculous. Most families have two cars. Now they would have to park one on the street? Sounds like increased chance for someone hitting a child running out from behind a parked car!

This is such a waste of time and taxpayer dollars to consider this infringement of freedom. Doesn't anyone realize the loss of property tax revenue created from this restriction? If you desire to minimize the width of driveways, assess a higher tax on those properties!!! Regardless, I'm curious of the logic of this proposal? WHY???

At what point does the city think they have the right to do this. If I want a 2,3,4 car garage its MY HOME.

Most rediculous idea! Property values will decrease. Things like this is why so many people moved to Bentonville & now all the improvements and businesses are there!

This is ridiculous to even consider. We need to stop this before it gets any traction. Absurd!

It’s my understanding that this ordinance may impose a vague adjustment to zoning already in place, that ultimately could increase home prices by adding cost to the construction phase. We are already in an inflated market. This could take many consumers out of the ability to buy or even rent at an affordable rate as the law of supply and demand kicks in.

Just when you think the self serving virtue signaling leftist extremists can't be any more tyrannical, they outdo themselves for something that isn't a problem. Christians, rise up and remove these folks before it's too late.

I’m against your proposal. Sounds like a bunch of liberal democrats, if you do this what’s next? No I oppose this measure and you for trying to take our rights away.

The current homes built this way look terrible and the street congestion is pitiful. Row homes like Salem Village with garages in back are like a parking lot on the street. Not to mention that car insurance rates will go up as street parking is less safe than driveway or garage!

Fayetteville, you are out of your damn mind wanting to take peoples parking space away. Hands down one of the dumbest things I've heard of.

I wonder if the City of Fayetteville surveyed homeowners and residents before trying to make this change. The "unintended" consequences could be detrimental to the Fayetteville housing market.
